GenCon US 2000 Doomtown Winner |
It has just been announced by Patrick Kapera, Lead Doomtown Storyline Writer, that the winner of this year's GenCon UK Storyline Championship will be made into a dude with their own card in the game!!!!

This year's tournament will be held at HIGH NOON on Saturday 2nd September 2000. It is a STORYLINE tournament, pre-registration is not necessary, but a quick email to the

Whoever wins gets to decide the future of Gomorra.....Or at least what's left of it!
This is the
ONLY UK STORYLINE TOURNAMENT THIS YEAR
and as such would be a prestigious win for any gunslingin' hombre...But ya gotta watch them boys from back east, they're tearing up the plains with them new fangled iron horse railroad thangs, and personally, I don't think Knick's gonna like it! Maybe the Sioux won't like it neither! But then, the Collegium are ready to advance science (that's what they call it!) to new heights (??), Sweetrock are readying a big shipping station, the 'Rats are scurrying everywhere as usual whilst Blackjack seems to have disappeared from public life...
But that darn Sumner gal keeps popping up where you'd least expect her!
Place seems ta be overrun with darned badged folks from Texas as well as them Agency dudes from up north, but none of 'em seem able to keep Wilhemina's Extended Family in check! Even Nate's boys aint do too good at that...Dang if'n we don't need some new religious types round here, they seem to keep the place in good (well better!) order...Where's Elijah???

Storyline Tournament (GenCon U.K.)
The results of this tournament will be felt in Episode Four: Saints and Sinners.
Trouble's been brewin' between Sweetrock's corporate office and their
west-coast branch for a long time. With Clell Miller's betrayal and
corporate enforcers snooping around, it was only a matter of time before
someone found something to pin on Maxwell Baine. Now, Scott Pierce has done
just that, uncovering evidence that Sweetrock West is using zombies in his
mines, and that his proposed mint is nothing more than a cover up for a
counterfeit operation that would threaten the economy of three states.
Recently employing the talents of Doctor Duvalier and a small group of
rogue Blackjacks, Pierce is on his way to deliver this damaging information
to the authorities - if they'll listen - or anyone else who can shut
Sweetrock West down.
But Max Baine has never been one to take challenges lying down. He knows
he's innocent of the charges that Scott Pierce intends to bring against
him, and he intends to prove it. But first he has to intercept the evidence
of Clell's misdeeds, and discover the identities of the moles within his
operation.
This summer, Doomtown's U.K. fans will have the chance to take the struggle between Sweetrock's bi-coastal offices to a new level, and decide whether Max Baine continues to run the western branch, or finds himself a wanted man?
The highest ranking faction in this tournament will decide the final fate of Scott Pierce, Sweetrock East's inside man with the evidence to bring Max Baine's dreams crashing down around him. They can either support his efforts, toppling Sweetrock West and re-establishing the company's greedy board of directors as the financial leaders in the area, or eliminate him before he can make it to the authorities, securing Max Baine's control over the company's west-coast operations. Either way, there's allies and enemies aplenty to be made!
The winner of this storyline tournament will determine the course of the upcoming Sweetrock Outfit (planned for release during Episode Four: Saints and Sinners), and help to shape the political and financial direction of Gomorra. They will also gain control of the mint and zombie-operated mines, which they can destroy (to cover up the evidence of Sweetrock West's involvement), or claim as their own (gaining control of the Deeds when they are released during Saints and Sinners).
Be careful not to take this challenge lightly, however. Regardless of how the chips fall, Clell Miller's usefulness to Sweetrock East is at an end, and he needs a new home. The lowest-ranking faction in this tournament will inherit Clell as a nuisance and a constant source of grief in coming Episodes.
The winning player of this tournament will be featured on a new Dude card to be released during Episode Four: Saints and Sinners. (Should the winner already have a Dude card, it will be Experienced.)
