SELWG 2011 done, SELWG 2012 – provisionally Sunday 14th October
The Show has now been and gone all of 2 weeks, and I am still only just finalising the "behind the scenes stuff" that Show Organisers have to do. One of the first things is to decide if there will be a SELWG 2012. Although the final say comes down to the club membership at the AGM in January it is always provisional booked by those of us that ran the Show that has just been held.
So on the good news front, the "provisional" date for SELWG 2012 will be Sunday 14th October 2012. Now we just have to ensure that the venue at Crystal Palace is available on that weekend and convince my wife that the 3 months worth of 'spare time' that the Show takes out of my life each year is worth it… One of our club members, Kevin Dallimore, took a lot of pictures for us of the event. Once he has edited the pics so they are suitable for the world to see we will be writing a full report of the Show.

If you are one of the 1,500 or so people who were at the Show we trust you had an enjoyable day out. Any comments any of you may have regarding the Show are always welcome, be they good or bad. Only by hearing from wargamers, or indeed non-wargamers, can we know if the day provides what people want to see.
