I put some free donwloadable minis games on my website, some of your group member might like them:  http://www.tabletopminiaturesgames.com/index. Designed to be quick and easy, playable on small tables for those without large spaces.  Please pass along!

Hi there. I've just started pulling together a Warhammer Fantasy Brettonian army after a 15 year hiatus and would be keen to start playing some games again. Your club looks like just what I'm after.
What's your policy on how complete and painted your members' armies should be? Mine is in very early stages (base painted, shields unattached etc).
    Cheers
    Matt

Hi Matt, Well we are fairly sympathetic in terms of painting up armies! We prefer the figures to be assembled before they are fielded but most of us have played with armies either partially or completely unpainted with just the undercoat. So please feel free to come along we have an active WH fantasy campaign and league running at present and many of us have a WH Fantsy army. Some Brettonians would be welcome.

      Look forward to seeing you!

    Hi
I'm interested in Flames of war and would like to know if there're playing this at your club?
    Regards
    Peter

    • Tomb King says:

Hi Peter, yes we do…one of them is replying to your comment!! Its an area with several interested players but we are guilty of being distracted by other games systems. Certainly we would welcome you to the club and it may stir therest of us up into playing some FOW!

    Hi,
I've recently been getting back into Warhammer Fantasy after a long absence.  It would be great to come along to a club night some time if you've got room for more WFB players (who are slightly shaky on the rules).

    • Tomb King says:

Hi, well if you are a WH Fantasy player who is shaky on the rules…then welcome to the club! We all play for the enjoyment and the rule book is usually opened for constant reference in any game at the club, so dont let that worry you. Do come in and say hello and meet the rest of the club.

    Hi Matthew,

You are welcome to visit the club and ask our many 40k players if they would like to play games/campaigns in that era. I am happy that you will find many players happy to do so…

You can join our club with your friends and play the games regularly whilst getting to know our members and asking them to join in. You can also join our own popular 40k leagues and campaigns.

  7. Mathew says:

    Hello,
My self and around four of my friends are collecting Warhammer 40k heresy era traitor legions. We would really like to do some battles or even heresy campaign against other 40k players.
I realise its a very specific question, but do you have many 40k players in your club that would be interested?
    Kind Regards,

    Mathew

    Hi,
I have been interested in getting back into Warhammer Fantasy & 40k plus other tabletop gaming systems for a while now. My local Games Workshop isn't the easiest to get to but Catford is quite near to me so ideally placed.
I have fully painted armies for both 40k and fantasy but would need to have a refresher on the rules if there are members who would be happy to show me the ropes once again?

    • Tomb King says:

      Hi Tom,
You are very welcome to come along to the club. We are open from 7pm every Friday at St Laurences Church Hall. Come along and make yourself known to us and we’ll point you in the direction of the Duty Committee member who can explian everything to you . We have strong Warhammer and 40K interests so don’t worry about the rules few of us are ‘fluent’ but there are plenty of people to help you.:-)
      Regards
      Neil Hobday
